“With 24 beers on tap behind the bar, 60 taps throughout the building, select tap table booths, communal tap tables, and a beer wall, we’re positive we have something on tap just for you.” Well, to make it short and plain, you can always grab a pint of beer no matter where you are, when you are, as long as you’re at the Bay Street Biergarten.
Building own history
“Once we stepped into the historic building at 549 East Bay Street, we knew that the Biergarten had found a home, both for ourselves and Charleston’s beer community.” And now, they’ve become the first comtemporary biergarten in Charleston. As you can see from the name (well, I’m sure you know, ‘biergarten’ simply means ‘beer garden’ in German), they wanted to bring the high-end German bar atmosphere into local beer community, blending an authentic Munich beer hall with state-of-the-art tap system.
“In addition to revolutionizing the customer’s imbibing experience, our goal is to bring the community together as a whole and support Charleston’s local, ever-expanding brewing, distilling and farming communities. We’re Bavarian Inspired and Southern Made, so pull up a chair, grab a pint glass and don’t be shy y’all!”
