Artigiano. Creating one design that fits it all.

Over the past few years, we’ve seen brands who craft perfect cups of espresso, distillery who serve custom unique spirits, and juicing companies who make fresh cold-pressed juicery. And it seems like doing best is not about doing everything, it’s about doing best at the thing that you do best. But what if someone is best at doing everything? Not possible? What if there’s a place that serves beautifully crafted espresso coffee, artisan food, natural blended juice, fine wines, craft beers, and mixologist cocktail in a relaxed and trendy environment all day and night? Well, happily, such place doesn’t just exists only in our wonderful imagination.

Artigiano

“Being both a place to grab an espresso during the day and to indulge in a glass of wine at night”, the Artigiano is a… well it’s not really a restaurant, is it? Nor is it a bar, or a cafe. Or in fact any names in the world that used to call these kind of places. I genuinely think that the people behind Artigiano did actually spent quite a lot of time figuring out what to call it. Eventually, they’ve done it rather brilliantly despite the risk of confusion. Just so you know, ‘artigiano’ means ‘craftsmen’ in Italian. And this very translation alone says it all.

Being such a… multitasker, Artiagiano really needs an identity that generally reflects, or covers, all of the services they provide. Which means a branding that is flexible enough to accomodate various eatery or drinking culture and adaptable enough to switch between moods. Developed by Post (creative agency in UK), the Artigiano brand is based on the simple concept of our basic daily lifestyle – eat, drink, work and play. (With the wide range of food and drinks, you can do pretty much anything at anytime in any moods). Such flexibility requires a design element that is as simple as a line. Everything from head to toe, words to graphics are all made out of simple lines. Just like the way all kinds of food and drinks are made by Artigiano’s craftsmen.
